Description
This hallmarked silver pendant features a beautiful silver hare gazing towards the stars and moon making a secret wish.
The pendant is made from 925 sterling silver and features an adorable small hare, a 5 pointed silver star and a tiny silver moon . The piece measures 32mm by 32mm.
The detail and decoration has been added using hand engraving, hammers and punches to leave a lovely textured and profiled finish.
The effect is completed by oxidizing the background to darken the silver to represent the sky at night . This helps the foreground detail stand out and enhances the engraving and texturing.
A discreet tube bail has been soldered to the reverse of the pendant allowing the pendant to hang from the 18 inch leather thong necklace, with sterling silver catches.
