Lucylou Designs does not directly share personal date with 3rd parties. Any other party having access to your data is directly in relation to the goods and services provided by us and in running and managing the website, For example bank details are managed by the “ Sumup” payment gateway. We do not share data to 3rd parties for marketing purposes.

What data do we collect?

We collect personal information (name, email address, phone number, etc.) to allow us to process your orders. Bank details are not stored or collected by Lucylou Designs and our staff have no access to your banking details. This is managed by the payment gateway interface, “Sumup”. Please also refer to our Cookie Policy for information about cookies. 

How do we collect your data?

The date and information we collect is provided by you in the process of interacting with our website.  We collect and process data when you:

  • Place an order for any of our jewellery.
  • Complete a “Contact” form or subscribe to newsletters and marketing information from us.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

How will we use your data?

Lucylou Designs uses your data in the following ways:

  • To process your orders and manage your account.
  • Your payment is shared with “Sumup” the secure payment gateway. Lucylou Designs does not retain your bank details and once the payment is processed there is no record of the details within the LucyLou Designs domains. How do we store your data?

We securely store your data with a third party hosting company that is password protected so only Lucylou Design’s staff have direct access to it. Personal Data is never stored on local hard drives or mobile devices.

Marketing

We generally do not carry out marketing or send our newsletters but on occasions we may send you information about items of jewellery that we think you might like but will only do this is you have previously purchased items from us, have signed up to our newsletter or completed a Contact form enquiry.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes and in compliance with UK and EU law any marketing correspondence will include a link to unsubscribe from future communications. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. If an automated un-subscription system is unavailable clear instructions on how to un-subscribe will by detailed instead.

This website nor its owners will ever ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact them directly and not through other platforms.
