Perseus- Silver Hare Bangle

Here is a beautiful handmade silver hare bangle that is from my etched hare collection. This design is called Perseus.  Just like the others he is made from solid sterling silver. The design and etched pattern is from my own design.
The etching is achieved through a handmade process that involves drawing the design onto the silver sheet. The silver sheet is hand cut to shape and then hand finished. The hare shaped piece of silver is then left in acid. The areas not protected by the pattern are eaten away by the acid creating the etched effect.
The Greek Key motif was the inspiration behind this etching. The angular swirls highlight and catch the light.
This lovely design is approximately 5cm long by 2cm high and comes complete with a delicate silver flat bangle wire that’s 2mm wide. The bangle itself is 60mm  in diameter. The bangle is an open one that means it is easy ot take on and off and will fit a small to medium hand.
